Initiation

BSWI is currently running ten schools for child brickfield workers in the brickfields of Diamond Harbour and Kulpi blocks of South 24 Parganas district, West Bengal. Most of the children are migrants with their families from Jharkhand, Bihar and Orissa. BSWI is working in Pre-primary and nonformal education for the children with a view to mainstream the children. BSWI is also working for the children’s rights in collaboration with the government departments and the local PRIs.
