Korean language pack windows 10 64 bit.Windows 10 21H1 Korean X64
Dear Good Samaritan,. My OS is Windows 10 latest version. Also installed Windows Troubleshooting file. But still unable to fix the issue. Was this reply helpful?
Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. My system automatically tries to download the Korean language pack. Few months ago I had manually clicked the Korean language pack download option. It failed to download the pack. Now the option to type in Korean disappears. I wish I may be able to turn off the automatic Korean language pack download option. I keep clickng the 3 download buttons Basic typing, Handwriting, Speech for Korean language pack.
Let’s try to add the Korean keyboard somewhere else. Switch the input indicator from the taskbar and observe if it will let you type Korean characters for a while. Once it is in the language list you can use it as and when you want to by moving it to the first in the list and then after put your usual language back to the top. But when “Options” was clicked, it says, “Windows display language: Unavailable in this edition of Windows.
But I do have Korean language fonts and am able to type in Korean as long as the language selection option is on the task bar. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. Search the community and support articles Windows Windows 10 Search Community member.
I’m okay with the menus written in English. All I want is to type in Korean time to time. Whenever I reboot my system, I’m able to type in Korean for few minutes.
But after that the system tells me “Something happened, and we couldn’t install a feature” and does not allow me to type in Korean. Below are the steps that repeatedly occur: 1. I reboot my system. I’m able to type in Korean. Few minute later, my system automatically tries to download the Korean language pack. I receive a message that says, “Something happened, and we couldn’t install a feature.
Immediately, I’m not able to type in Korean. I wish to turn off the automatic language pack downloading option. I click the Korean language pack download buttons for Basic typing, Handwriting and Speech. I get “Download failed” message for each button. Would appreciate your kind help. Regards, Guy. Unfortunately I’m stuck at the step below and not able to download the language pack. If I reboot my system it allows me to type both in English and Korean. But after few minutes the following things happen repeatedly: 1. The automatic download fails. I only get “Download failed” message. I reboot the system only to type in Korean for few minutes before the step 1, 2, 3 happen.
Regards Guy. The image in the previous posting is from the link you’ve sent me. But for me it is Korean language option with “Download failed” message.
